Arriving Eventually (Spec)

A commission whose buses and trains have so consistently had disrupted schedules due to track work, to emergencies, or just by being late in general, has slowly become a cultural identity to Toronto and sometimes oddly endearing.

Instead of apologizing, the aim was to go for a deadpan take on owning the narrative in a satirical way without it being on the nose. Hence the campaign, arriving eventually.

Centered visuals with calm, passive scenes that highlights the time it takes for the buses to arrive, but that they always do.
